The wood here is dense and dark and bent. The crosscut rounds textured Of shade on the cracked and buckled pavement— not quite Black. The crows bounce and scraw in asymmetrical pyramids of utmost importance, only to fly off (again) and settle it all in some different

James Johnston attended Loyola University as an undergraduate for English & Philosophy, and later studied Biology at Purdue. He is a father to three daughters and lives by the Indiana Dunes.
