La Montana Sagrada

Sara Whittemore is a poet living in Houston, Texas. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the Jack Kerouac School at Naropa and a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Houston-Downtown where she was the recipient of The Fabian Worsham Prize in Creative Writing. Her work has appeared in High Shelf Press, Juniper Press, and Interim Magazine. In addition to being a poet she is a multi-disciplinary artist, lover of flowers and friend to many cats.
