New Schedule for a New Year

We’ve made some changes for 2023!

With submissions now closed for our fifth issue and Mulberry turning yet another year older, we will be making some changes for our open submission periods and our Fresh Voices Award in the new year.

Though our publishing schedule for spring used to run from January to April, our submissions for our Spring/Summer issue will now be open from March 1st to May 1st to better serve our editors and the beloved community we are striving to create. This change will help us to better serve our contributors in response time, editing, and overall magazine curation. Our Fall/Winter Submission period will remain open from September 1st to November 1st and issues will continue to be published on the 30th of November and May.

We have also decided to slightly change the Mulberry Literary Fresh Voices Award by adding spots for first place winners in the categories of art, prose, and poetry. To learn more about these changes, click here.
